Anne Phung Nguyen
Anne Phung Nguyen. I am an American-born Vietnamese entrepreneur living in Orange County, California. Alongside my amazing partner JP as well as my happy dad Henry. Many people recognize my username as @annephung on Instagram and I write about my adventures ranging from ups to the downs. The year 1990 was the time I emigrated to America together with my family, including my brothers and parents as I reached the age of one and half. If it wasn't for my parents' passion for perseverance and sacrifice, I probably wouldn't even share my journey. In order to give them the chance to have a successful future, I focused on success and worked hard in order to reach it. There was a specific plan for me for my life: university and get a corporate job, marry, purchase the house, and then have kids. Although I was convinced that this was the standard for success, life had different goals. The year 2013 was the year I began looking forward to going back to work. job the money and status did not bring me joyIt was as if I had wasted my time to earn a living but I knew that I was destined for something more. As I began to move toward a new direction in my life, I realized that personal training was what I wanted to do. I'm a sucker for exercise, enjoy being around people and helping people. My business was founded in the year 2014. My company is celebrating its 7th anniversary this year. As an Asian female in this industry we are among the many of us. My mission in this field is to build a more healthy and sustainable life style that is in line with the desires of my customers. Also, I strive to inspire others to go after their goals and achieve anything and everything they want to achieve in their lives. When I began my professional career, the death of my mother was the biggest blow to my life. She has won the eight-year fight with Scleroderma. Then she's in Heaven and I will remain close to her in my heart. It is possible to learn from the world, even if it may be difficult to spot it in the moment. It was my mother's abrupt death that altered my life forever. And I really believe it gave me an opportunity at the next stage of my life. It was the Tet/Lunar New Year Day when she died. It was her time to begin her new life which gave me another chance to live a fulfilling and happy life. When I reach my 30's, I feel more alive than ever. It is true that I live my life today instead of merely living like I was in the past. As I tell my story I hope my thoughts will resonate with those of yours. I hope that my words will make you aware that you're never alone. I believe that you are blessed with the potential to accomplish everything you desire. I pray that you live your life to its fullest and end it without regrets as dying is the only possibility that awaits all of us during our lives.
