Allison Pregler Bio
Allison Pregler reviews Z-grade films generally horror or martial arts. Her style is similar to The Cinema Snob in that she likes action-oriented films that are dumb. After getting some attention in the forums of Channel Awesome (under her previous handle Obscurus Lupa) and began her review in late 2009. The site remained active until early 2015 in the year that Obscurus Lupa Presents was revamped to Movie Nights. Presently, she hosts two podcasts, one that covers the Charmed franchise and the other co-hosted with Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. Ninja the Mission Force is the place to catch her performing the Squats in the role of Interpol Ninja Cheetah. Brad Jones' Jesus Bro! was her very first film. He has also had her appear as a guest in some episodes of his program Midnight Screenings. She reviews awful films for kids or RiffTrax programs, and also occasional adult humor (including Baywatch (2017)). The first time she reviewed a film was late 2009. She earned a great deal in popularity thanks to the Channel Awesome forum before becoming part of the family. She's appeared on numerous Channel Awesome shows from Atop the Fourth Wall to Phelous & the Movies. Doug Walker as well as Doug Walker were once members of Channel Awesome. They would frequently appear in episodes of Nostalgia Critic.
